Overview-

City in Indiana with a population of nearly 121,000 people in the city limits and more than 300,000 people in the metropolitan area, The city is the third-largest city in Indiana. The city is the social and economic hub for the region, which includes Southwest Indiana, Southeast Illinois and Northwest Kentucky.

Challenge-

The city was looking to have a company identity and audit all current voice and data services for a migration from traditional voice services to SIP. They were also looking for design recommendations and assistance with the migration plan to the new network.

Solution-

CSG performed an inventory and audit of all voice and data services and provided the city with a clean inventory of their current services. CSG then worked with the city to identify unused services and provided them with a disconnect plan for cost savings. CSG assisted with the disconnects and helped build the migration plan to SIP for a clean implementation.

Conclusion-

By providing the city with the inventory, audit of unused services, disconnect assistance and new design for the SIP migration. CSG was able to save the city over $10,000 per month. After project completion the customer had a complete inventory of all their lines in service and cost savings.
